MICRO LEARNING HUB

Whilst there is no one definition for micro-learning we came up with our own

Micro-learning is any bite sized, targeted learning that spans no more than 10-minutes. A learning bite is focused on introducing one concept / objective / idea.

We have developed a number of micro-learning modules that will provide learning in a logical sequence, guiding the learner through the material. Each module contains 3 – 5 learning bites with a maximum of 35-minutes learning time.

Our modules speak to everyone and are great as a refresher, quick revision or for new team members. As our micro-learning is learner driven, learners can access the learning bites most applicable to their needs where, how and when they need it.

Micro-learning HUB modules are built using a cloud-based platform that enables instant updates, greater collaboration and faster development time.

Modules can be exported in several formats to suit your hosting needs including SCORM 1.2 or 2004 or as standalone HTML5 that can be stored locally or hosted online.

Mentoring Basics

It explores the roles and relationships of those involved, the stages of the mentoring relationship, the mentoring plan and its use as well as the role effective communication plays. It concludes with an action plan to get you started with your mentee.

Developing a team

It will assist you to identify where your team is at and help you to build a highly functioning team. It looks at Bruce Tuckman’s 5 stage model in a team’s development. The success of your team is reliant on you as a good leader and providing a supportive environment.

Responsible Managers

Micro-learning HUB is partnering with CRS Certus to develop the Responsible Managers module.

This module will define the concept of a Responsible Manager, the expectations placed upon them by ASIC as well as potential liabilities arising from their actions based on regulatory enforcement.

It also provides a review of the base requirements for such Managers and whether the business activities of an organisation require their appointment. Obligations relating to money laundering and terrorism funding are also examined.

Customising can be done using yours or our content with your style guide: branding, logo, colours and fonts. We can also include your scenarios, documents, jargon and media.
